Peninsula Land Ltd has informed BSE that :

(i) ICRA Limited had assigned an "A1" (pronounced A one) rating to Rs. 250 crores Commercial Paper / Short Term Debt of the Company. Subsequently, on the requisition of the Company, ICRA Limited has now re-affirmed this "A1" rating for a reduced amount of Rs. 200 crores Commercial paper / Short Term Debt of the Company.

This is the highest credit quality rating assigned by ICRA to short-term debt instruments. Instruments rated in this category curry the lowest credit risk in the short term.

(ii) ICRA Limited has also assigned "LA" (pronounced L A) rating with Stable Outlook to Company’s Non Convertible Debenture Programme of Rs. 400 crores. This rating indicates adequate-credit-quality and the rated instrument carries average credit risk.
