Piramal Enterprises Ltd has announced the following results for the quarter & year ended March 31, 2015:

"The Unaudited results for the Quarter ended March 31, 2015

The Company posted a net profit of Rs. 726.90 million for the Quarter ended March 31, 2015 where as the same was at net loss of Rs. (2013.90) million for the Quarter ended March 31, 2014. Total Income is Rs. 7100.20 million for the Quarter ended March 31, 2015 where as the same was at Rs. 5331.00 million for the Quarter ended March 31, 2014.

The Audited results for the Year ended March 31, 2015

The Company has posted a net profit of Rs. 3727.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2015 where as the same was at net loss of Rs. (3700.00) million for the year ended March 31, 2014. Total Income is Rs. 27000.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2015 where as the same was at Rs. 22799.40 million for the year ended March 31, 2014.

- The figures for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2015 are not comparable to the previous quarter and year ended March 31, 2014 on account of merger."

The Group has posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and Share of profit of associates of Rs. 954.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015 as compared to net loss of Rs. (3113.50) million for the quarter ended March 31, 2014. Total Income has increased from Rs. 11071.00 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2014 to Rs. 13709.50 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2015.

The Group has posted a net profit after taxes, minority interest and Share of profit of associates of Rs. 28499.50 million for the year ended March 31, 2015 as compared to net loss of Rs. (5014.10) million for the year ended March 31, 2014. Total Income has increased from Rs. 47239.90 million for the year ended March 31, 2014 to Rs. 53768.00 million for the year ended March 31, 2015.
