| Exchange Disseminated Time | Kabra Extrusiontechnik Ltd has informed BSE that the Company proposes to upgrade and expand its existing manufacturing facilities located at Kachigam, Daman. It will be undertaken at village Dunetha, Daman which is at a distance of few miles from existing unit.
It would involve total outlay of about Rs. 85 Crores to be invested phase wise over next three financial years in machinery, utilities and other fixed assets and proposed to be financed mainly from internal resources. Arrangement to acquire factory building admeasuring built-up area of about 1 lakh sq. ft. is being finalized. The Board at its meeting held on January 30, 2010 reviewed the project details and approved the said proposal.
This would ensure growth of existing product lines and facilitate manufacturing of high-end high-output mono and multiplayer film plants and bag-on-roll equipments, a new product line for the Company. Technical support to manufacture aforesaid new plants will be available from, Gloucester Engineering Company Inc., a well reputed US based manufacturer and exporter of such plants.
Boom in construction, infrastructure, telecom, agriculture, irrigation with focus on pipes and multilayer film and flexible packaging sector would ensure growth of advanced technology pipe and film plants manufactured by the Company. On account of such investment sales and production as projected would be more than double of the present performance by the end of financial year 2013-2014 and benefit the Company to widen its global presence and recognition. |
