| Exchange Disseminated Time | Makers Laboratories Ltd has informed BSE regarding Outcome of Board Meeting held on April 12, 2016.
"Further to our letters dated February 19, 2016 and April 01, 2016 submitted to you with respect to the Company’s bulk drugs and drug intermediates manufacturing unit situated at A-163, Phase I, MIDC, Dombivli (East) - 421203, District - Thane, Maharashtra, this is to inform you that the Company has stopped manufacturing operations at the said manufacturing unit due to space constraints for effluent treatment operations, storage of materials and solvents and safe manufacturing operations, etc.
Further, at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company held on April 12, 2016, the Board has decided to sell and transfer the leasehold right of the Company in respect of the plot of said manufacturing unit consisting of land admeasuring 750 sq meters or thereabout and factory building(s) / shed(s) standing thereon admeasuring 457 sq meters or thereabout to the highest bidder at an amount aggregating to Rs. 130 lacs, subject to the proposed purchaser completing the due diligence.
The Board has also decided to sell / scrap the old plant and machineries, pipes and fittings, etc comprising of the said manufacturing unit on an as is where is basis, in due course of time. The consideration expected on sale/scrap of the said old plant & machinery etc. is around Rs. 49 lacs.
The said Board Meeting started at 10.00 a.m. and concluded at 12.45 p.m." |
