| Exchange Disseminated Time | Zenith Birla (India) Ltd has informed BSE that one of the Company's manufacturing unit located at Khopoli has received notice dated June 20, 2013 from Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, Regional Office - Raigad, Maharashtra for closure directions u/s 33A of the water (Prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1974 and u/s 31A of the Air (prevention & Control of Pollution) Act, 1981. It may be noted that the Company had applied in past for renewal of consent to operate on October 31, 2011.
Further the Company note that the Company had preferred an appeal to the higher Authority for stay of said closure directions of the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. |
