| Exchange Disseminated Time | Indian Metals & Ferro Alloys Ltd has informed BSE that:
"Mining activity at our Sukinda Chromite Mines has been suspended w.e.f. April 01, 2014 as extension of environment clearance beyond March 31, 2014 is still under process. The Proposal has been recommended by the Expert Appraisal Committee of the MoEF but we understand further processing is held up pending clarification from the Election Commission about applicability of code of conduct. Requisite stock of chrome ore is available at the plants and for the moment we do not anticipate any production disruption." |
