| Exchange Disseminated Time | Lumax Industries Ltd has informed BSE that that the members of the Company will consider to approve by way of Postal Ballot the Ordinary Resolution to dispose / sell the whole or substantially the whole of the Assets which includes Plant & Machineries, Tools Moulds, Dies or other movable and immovable assets or part thereof related to the Chennai Unit and manufacturing operation of the said unit ("Assets"), at such consideration, to such party on such terms and conditions as the Board may consider appropriate and deem fit, subject to necessary provisions & approvals.
The Board has appointed Shri. R K Jain, Practising Company Secretary as Scrutinizer for conducting the voting through Postal Ballot in a fair and transparent manner.
The Postal Ballot form duly completed should reach the scrutinizer on or before March 19, 2008. The scrutinizer will submit his report and the results of the postal ballot will be announced on March 24, 2008. |
