| Exchange Disseminated Time | | Prism Cement Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has commenced commercial production of the 3.6 million tonnes cement project - Unit II at Satna, Madhya Pradesh with effect from September 23, 2010. The project has been completed in a short span of 19 months from the commencement of civil construction. The Company, at present, despatches 3 million tonnes of cement and clinker from its existing Unit I. With the expansion, the Company will now be in a position to despatch 6.6 million tonnes of cement and clinker from both the Units. The overall cost has been funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. |
