| Exchange Disseminated Time | | Birla Corporation Ltd has informed BSE that, vide judgment and order dated May 25, 2012 passed by the Hon’ble High Court at Jodhpur, the Hon’ble Court has inter alia directed that no mining activities and blasting shall take place within 10 kms from Chittorgarh fort wall. The Hon’ble Court has further directed that the mining leases granted within 10 kms from fort wall are cancelled. In terms of the aforesaid judgment and order, no mining and blasting operation could be carried out within 10 kms from the fort wall. It may be noted that the mining and blasting operation at Chanderia unit of the Company remain suspended since August, 2011 in terms of the directions of the Hon’ble Court.
