| Exchange Disseminated Time | GTC Industries Ltd has informed BSE that the shareholders of the Company vide their Special Resolution passed in the Annual General Meeting held on July 14, 2008 had approved the change of name of the Company from "GTC Industries Ltd" to "Golden Tobacco Ltd". In furtherance of the same, the Company had made an application to the Central Government (Ministry of Corporate Affairs) under Section 21 of the Companies Act, 1956 for change of its name accordingly.
The said application of the Company has now been approved and the Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, Mumbai, vide its letter dated July 23, 2008, received in the office on July 28, 2008, has approved the change of name of the Company from "GTC Industries Ltd" to "Golden Tobacco Ltd" and Fresh Certificate of Incorporation has been issued. |
