| Exchange Disseminated Time | Essar Shipping Ltd has informed BSE regarding a Press Release dated January 17, 2012 titled "Essar Shipping inducts first MiniCape Vessel into its operating fleet".

"Essar Shipping Limited (ESL) part of the Essar Group has, taken the delivery of MV "Kamlesh" into its operations. This newest addition to Essar Shipping's growing fleet, MV Kamlesh, is a bulk carrier, 253 metre long, 43 metre wide vessel and has a cargo capacity of 105000 dwt. Essar Shipping has a total capex of USD 1 billion out of which USD 600 million is for acquiring 12 vessels and approx. USD 450 million is for acquiring two jack up rigs."
