| Exchange Disseminated Time | Aro Granite Industries Ltd has submitted to BSE a copy of Media Release dated April 25, 2011.
Media Release:
"Aro granite industries ltd. (AGIL) has, in order to achieve the maximum utilization of the installed capacity, installed two wire saw machine for dressing of the rough granite blocks and one state of the art flaming machine for producing flamed granite slabs in Unit II. The Company has also decided to install one resine line machine in Unit II and a new polishing line machine in Unit-I. LCs have been established for the import of both the machines. Though earlier it was decided to sell the Unit I of the Company, now looking into the increase in demand for granite tiles, the Company has deferred the sale of Unit I of the Company and steps are being taken for revival of the same. The addition of the above mentioned machines to the existing line of machines will help enhancing the capacity utilization of both granite tiles and slabs of the Company. Also the Company is in the process of developing the unutilized portion of the available land in Unit II location so the same can be used for the existing operations of the Company.
The Company with its in-depth product knowledge, state of the art facility for processing of granite slabs and tiles and ability to source a vast variety of granite from India and abroad, is poised to take on the ever increasing demand of granite tiles and slabs in the international market." |
