| Exchange Disseminated Time | | Indian Overseas Bank has informed BSE the Government of India, vide its notification dated May 02, 2013 and in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (f) of sub-section 3 of Section 9 of The Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970/1980, read with sub-clauses (1) & (2) of clause 9 of The Nationalised Banks (Management and Miscellaneous Provisions) Scheme, 1970/1980, the Central Government, after consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, has nominated Shri Jai Deo Sharma as Officer Employee Director on the Board of the Bank from May 02, 2013 (being the date of GOI Notification), for a period of three years from the date of notification of his appointment or until he ceases to be an officer of the bank or further orders, whichever is earliest. |
