"We refer to our letter dated January 22, 2016 stating that The Hon'ble High Court after appreciating the urgency of the matter directed the appeals to be heard peremptorily by the Debt Recovery Appellate tribunal (DRAT) on 27.1.2016 itself as against the scheduled date of 2.2.2016.
Accordingly, as per the directions of the Bombay High Court, the DRAT on January 27, 2016 heard the Company's Appeals and passed the order. However, the order was made available only in the afternoon of January 29, 2016. It may be noted that the said order has however been stayed by the DRAT itself till February 9, 2016.
The Company is in the process of examining the implications of the said Order and shall take further necessary steps as may be advised in the matter.
In view of the DRAT passing the order on appeals, the writ petition at Bombay High Court stands disposed off." |
