| Exchange Disseminated Time | Honeywell Automation India Ltd has announced that effective November 01, 2006, Mr Vimal Kapur has been appointed its new Managing Director, taking over the helm from Mr. Harshavardhan Chitale. Mr. Chitale will relocate to a global position within the Company but will continue to remain on the Board of the Company as Non-Executive Vice Chairman.
Mr. Kapur has been with the Company since 1989 and brings with him extensive business experience in the automation industry. He has held various leadership roles including operations, marketing and general management in the Company. Since 2004, Mr. Kapur has been the Executive Director on the Company’s Board and also led the Company’s export business.
Mr. Chitale will be moving to Phoenix, Arizona as Vice President, Global Marketing for Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS). In this role, he will lead the global marketing team for HPS and be responsible for developing and implementing portfolio and competitive strategies for the HPS business. |
