Goldstone Technologies Ltd has informed BSE that the Media Division of the Company on April 04, 2008 announced that it has delivered the colorized version of Satya Harishchandra, a classic Kannada feature film to the KCN Enterprises, the owner of Worlds negative rights of the film. The film starred Dr. Raj Kumar, the Kannada film legend, and was released in 1965.

This is the first film which the Media Division of Goldstone Technologies has restored, colorized and delivered, Apart from restoration and colorization, the format of the movie has been converted to cinemascope from existing 35mm using a special technology to make it suitable for modern theatres.

"We are really amazed at the picture quality of restored and colorized Satya Harishchandra. The colorized and re-scaled version of movie looks very dynamic in full cinema scope. Frankly speaking we never expected this kind of quality restoration and colorization is possible. The film, a classic to begin with, has now become contemporary because it has been colorized, re-scaled to cater to the taste to today's movie-going public," said Mr. K C N Gowda, of K C N Enterprises.

Our research team has come out with great detailing required for coloring the movie frame by frame. Every character was clearly defined and projected the way the creator had visualized this master piece of movie, It is a previlage to work on the great legend actor Dr. Rajkumar’s movie to begin our restoration and colorization in India."

Travis Caddell, managing director of Goldstone Technologies said, "It was challenge for us to colorize such an old classic like Satya Harishchandra, but the Media Division rose to it, and delivered a film which gives vibrancy to one of the earliest feature films produced in India."
