| Exchange Disseminated Time | Jindal Stainless Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on October 28, 2013, has transacted the following:
1. Smt. Savitri Jindal, Director and Chairperson of the Company tendered her resignation as Director on the Board of Directors and Chairperson of the Company to be made effective from October 28, 2013. The Board of Directors in its meeting held on October 28, 2013 took note of her resignation and placed on record its sincere appreciation for the valuable contribution made by her during her tenure as Director and Chairperson of the Company. The Board has conferred upon her the title of “Chairperson Emeritus” w.e.f. October 28, 2013 and she will continue to provide her guidance and direction on future endeavors of the Company.
2. Consequent upon the aforesaid resignation of Smt. Savitri Jindal from the Board of Directors and Chairpersonship of the Company, the Board of Directors in its meeting held on October 28, 2013 has elected Mr. Ratan Jindal as Chairman in pursuance of the provisions of Article 90 of Articles of Association of the Company to preside over its meetings and
re-designated him as Chairman and Managing Director of the Company w.e.f. October 28, 2013. |
