| Exchange Disseminated Time | Karvy Investor Services Ltd ("Manager to the Buyback") on behalf of Apcotex Industries Ltd ("Target Company") has issued this Notice for closure of the Buy back offer to the Shareholders/ Beneficial owners of the Equity Shares of the Target Company, which is in continuation of and should be read in conjunction with the Public Announcement ("PA") dated December 07, 2009 & Corrigendum to the PA dated December 18, 2009 ("Corrigendum").
The Company, having already purchased its Equity Shares exceeding the requisite minimum number of Equity Shares, has decided to close the Buy-back of Equity Shares, from the open market through Stock Exchanges, on May 7, 2010. The Company has completed the required process of acceptance under the Buy-back and corresponding payments till April 28, 2010. Equity Shares bought back have been extinguished in accordance with Clauses 2 and 19.4 of the PA.
No order for the Buy-back shall be placed after May 7, 2010.
As on April 28, 2010, the Company has bought back 3,42,856 Equity Shares (being 85.71% of the total Buy- back Offer) for an aggregate amount of Rs 303.65 Lacs, excluding STT charges, Service charge and Brokerage, etc. |
