| Exchange Disseminated Time | Jai Corp Ltd has informed BSE that the 28th Annual General Meeting of the members of the Company was scheduled for 12:00 noon on September 21, 2013. At the time appointed for holding the meeting, 30 shareholders, being the minimum number of members required to form a quorum, pursuant to recently notified Section 103(1)(a)(iii) of the new Companies Act, 2013, were not personally present. Hence the Chairman of the meeting waited for half- an-hour. At 12.30 pm, as the Chairman found that the quorum was still not present, he stated that pursuant to Section 103(2)(a) of the Companies Act, 2013 the 28th Annual General Meeting of the members of the Company stands adjourned to same day in the next week i.e. September 28, 2013 at the same time i.e. 12:00 noon and at the same place viz. the Registered Office of the Company.
In this regard, the Company also submitted a copy of Notice of Adjourned Annual General Meeting of the Company. |
