| Exchange Disseminated Time | | BASF India Ltd has informed BSE that pursuant to the acquisition of Cognis Holding GmbH by BASF SE worldwide in December, 2010, the Board of Directors of the Company on June 24, 2011, approved the proposal to purchase the business of Cognis Specialty Chemicals Private Limited in India alongwith all its assets and liabilities on a going concern basis with effect from July 01, 2011 for a lumpsum consideration of Rs. 13.4 crores (Rupees Thirteen Crores Forty Lakhs only), subject to requisite approvals as may be necessary. |
