| Exchange Disseminated Time | Alkali Metals Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 10, 2010, inter alia, has decided the following Matters:
1. The Board paid its rich tributes to Dr.YVSS Murty, Founder Chairman and also passed a resolution recording its high esteem to the departed soul.
2. The Board considered in principle on re-appointment of Sri. YSR Venkata Rao, as Managing Director and the terms of appointment will be decided in next Board meeting to be held in May 2010.
3. Smt. Y. Krishna Veni and Smt.Y.Lalithya Poorna were appointed as Additional Directors pursuant to Section 280 of the Companies Act 1958 and Article 89 of Articles of Association Of the Company for the vacancy caused due to sudden demise of Dr. Y.V.S.S. Murty. These promoter Directors were inducted to meet the requirements of Corporate Governance. |
