"Pritish Nandy Communications announces that they have teamed up with London-based High Point Media for the overseas marketing and distribution of PNC’s first horror film, tentatively titled as The Accident.
The Accident is being made under PNC’s Guerrilla Flicks banner and is directed by National
Award winning director Abhijit Chaudhuri, one of India’s most successful advertising film
makers who won the National Award for his debut film Patal Ghar. It stars Soha Ali Khan and Shiney Ahuja. The screenplay is by Arindam Mitra, producer of Black Friday and director of Shoonya.
Announcing the understanding, Carey Fitzgerald of High Point Media said “Pritish Nandy continues to push the boundaries of convention with films like The Accident. High Point is extremely well placed to handle a film of this genre, having handled a range of successful horrors and thrillers around the world, from George A Romero Dawn of the Dead to Peter Van Hees’s award winning chiller, Left Bank.”
