| Exchange Disseminated Time | Gangotri Textiles Ltd has informed BSE that there has been a fire accident in the head office of located at peelamedu, Coimbatore. The fire appears to have been caused by short circuit in the A/C unit located in the computer room. 10 Laptops, 3 printers and all the Servers, which were located in that room, have been gutted. The fire service arrived on the spot immediately and the fire was put out after about one and half hours.
Emergency steps have been initiated to have the basic facilities restored with new equipments from today. It is also proposed to find the possibility of sending the damaged hard disks to Singapore for facilitating retrieval of the data.
Even otherwise for all the past years, hard copies are available.
While no major loss of data is expected, in the near future, the work will be slowed down for want of established computer systems. |
