This is with reference to the article appearing in the Mumbai edition of The Times of India on Thursday, August 10, 2017, on Page 9 called 'SoBo bizman forges docus to avail Rs. 34cr export sops'. The article mentions that the accused Mr. Hiten Haria is associated with certain companies whose names begin with 'Ashapura'.
This is to clarify that neither Mr. Hiten Haria or any of the entities mentioned in the article are associated or have ever been associated with 'The Ashapura Group' whose flagship company Ashapura Minechem Ltd. (ISIN: INE348A01023, BSE: 527001, NSE: ASHAPURMIN) is listed on India's premier exchanges.
None of the companies of the Ashapura Group including Ashapura International Ltd. (ISN: INE762J01018) have any association or connection with the said Mr. Hiten Haria.
