| Exchange Disseminated Time 13/08/2015 13:57:49 | GMR Infrastructure Ltd has informed BSE that M/s. GMR Vemagiri Power Generation Limited (GVPGL) at Vemagiri
successfully commenced its operation from August 12, 2015 under the “Scheme for Utilization of Stranded Gas based power plants” as launched by Government of India (GoI) in the month of March, 2015. Capacity of plant is 370 MW and operating at 95% PLF at present thereby generating 350 MW and supplying power to AP Transco.
Current Operations will continue upto September 30, 2015, thereafter GoI will call for a fresh round of bidding. The scheme envisages Government subsidies from the Power System Development Fund (PSDF) through a transparent ebid process. |
