| Exchange Disseminated Time 21/08/2015 18:48:31 | | Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd has informed BSE that renovation of the existing 18-year-old, 50MW turbine at Paloncha, is scheduled from August 24, 2015 to October 14, 2015, (inclusive of annual overhaul of 30 days), to improve the turbine heat rate. This renovation, using latest technology, is expected to result in improvement of efficiency of the unit by 9% and saving in coal consumption by about 110 MT per day at full capacity. During this shutdown, the other two units of 32MW each at Paloncha, would be in continuous operation, generating about 58 MW. |
