| Exchange Disseminated Time | | Gandhimathi Appliances Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on May 28, 2007, has recommended that permission of the Registrar of Companies be sought for (a) extending the period of Annual Accounts of the Company for the financial year 2006-2007 upto 18 months under section 210(4) of the Companies Act, 1956, i.e., from April 01, 2006 to September 30, 2007 and (b) extension of period for holding Annual General Meeting by three months under section 166 (1) of the Companies Act, 1956. Accordingly, the Company has submitted applications to the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu at Chennai seeking permission for extension of financial year as well as extension of time for holding the Annual General Meeting. |
