| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the earlier announcement dated December 12, 2011 about receipt of Notice of Demand under Section 156 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 for a sum of Rs. 4,02,97,980/- in respect of Assessment year 2008-09 from Joint Commissioner of Income Tax, Panaji - Goa, Smartlink Network Systems Ltd has now informed BSE that the Company had filed appeal with Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) in the aforesaid matter & the Company has now received the order from the CIT (Appeals).
The Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals) has passed order in favour of the Company on major grounds of appeal filed by the Company against the aforesaid notice of demand. |
