| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the earlier letter dated November 14, 2013 submitted by the Company intimating the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (together, the "Stock Exchanges"), that in view of the sudden change in bank holiday for Muharram from November 14, 2013 to November 15, 2013 and settlements not being conducted November 14, 2013 and November 15, 2013, the benpos date for determining the eligibility of the shareholders and beneficial owners of the Equity Shares for the Buyback as well as for the payment of the interim dividend for the financial year 2013-2014 has been revised to November 18, 2013.
In this regard, Jagran Prakashan Ltd has clarified to BSE that for the identification of small shareholders for the purposes of reservation in the Buyback in accordance with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Buy Back of Securities) Regulations, 1998, valuation of the Equity Shares will be done based on the trading volume and closing price of the Equity Shares as on November 14, 2013, i.e. the last trading day prior to the record date of the Buyback. |
