| Exchange Disseminated Time | | With reference to earlier announcement dated April 27, 2010 informing that Company's subsidiary Company, W. S. Electric Limited, had proposed a Scheme of Arrangement (Demerger) between itself and its two wholly owned subsidiary Companies viz W. S. Technology Parks Limited (WSTPL) and W.S. Infotech Holdings Limited (WSIHL) subject to necessary approvals and sanction of the Scheme by the Hon'ble High Court of Madras, Chennai, W. S. Industries (India) Ltd has now informed BSE that at the Board Meeting held on January 29, 2011, it has been decided by W.S. Electric Limited not to proceed with the Demerger. The Company will soon take necessary steps for withdrawal of its petition for sanction of the Scheme which is currently pending before the Hon'ble High Court of Madras, Chennai. |
