| Exchange Disseminated Time | The Exchange has sought clarification from IFCI Ltd with respect to news article appearing in Business Standard on October 17, 2014 titled "Tamara, SHCI eyeing IFCI's brokerage Biz."
IFCI Ltd replied stating:
"We would like to state that the news item relates to one of our unlisted non-material subsidiary, IFCI Financial Services Ltd., which has broking business. The information about this proposal was also sent to the Stock Exchange on June 20, 2014. The stake sale is still in process and there has been no significant development in this regard.
The second matter in the news item related to Jaora Nayagaon Toll Road Company Private Limited (JTCL). We would like to state that as IFCI Limited is a PFI, such decisions are of normal Business nature and are not price sensitive in nature." |
