| Exchange Disseminated Time | Maharashtra Scooters Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 17 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2001 as against Rs 11.20 million for the same period last year. Total Income for the quarter ended December 31, 2001 is at Rs 265.40 million as compared to Rs 364 million for the quarter ended December 31, 2000.
The Company has reported that the Production and Sale of Scooters during the period from April to December 2001 were 44,907 and 44,581 nos respectively. The corresponding figures for the previous year were 75,000 nos. and 76,862 nos respectively.
