NHPC Ltd has informed BSE that consequent upon successful trial run of Unit No.# 4 of Teesta Low Dam H.E. Project, Stage IV (4 x 40 MW) at its installed capacity of 40 MW for continuous 20.08 hours on dated August 15, 2016, the unit No. #4 is hereby declared under commercial operation w.e.f. 00:00 hours of August 19, 2016. Accordingly, COD of Power Station is also declared w.e.f. 00.00 hrs of August 19, 2016.

Further, inform that 100% Power generated from TLDP-IV has been allocated to the state of West Bengal and the same shall be supplied through West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (WBSEDCL).
