| Exchange Disseminated Time | Prism Cement Ltd has informed BSE that the lockout declared, with effect from September 07, 2010, by the Management at one of the Tile manufacturing plant situated at Karaikal in Pondicherry, pursuant to an illegal strike and physical assault of the Plant Managers had been lifted and the workers have resumed duties on December 02, 2010.
The Union has assured to maintain discipline and production. Production in the plant has resumed, meanwhile conciliation proceedings including for wage settlement are in progress. |
