| Exchange Disseminated Time | With reference to the news item appearing in the media dated June 04, 2014 titled "the company is in advanced talks to acquire a gas plant in Middle East", Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd has Clarified to BSE as under:
"there is no plan by the company to acquire any gas plant in Middle East or any other place. The captioned item is incorrect and we have taken up with 'ET Now'. The company is looking at possibilities of Joint ventures abroad for making fertilisers with cheaper gas available. The talks are at very preliminary stage and no concrete understanding has been reached.
We would, therefore, confirm that no negotiations have taken place so far and BSE will be kept informed when actually such negotiations take place." |
