NHPC Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on February 28, 2017, inter-alia has considered and approved the appointment of M/s P.P. Agarwal & Co., New Delhi, Practicing Company Secretaries as Secretarial Auditor of the Company for the financial year 2016-17.

Further, it is to inform that M/s Musib & Co., New Delhi, Cost Accountant has been appointed as Cost Auditor for the financial year 2016-17 for the Wind Power Project, Jaisalmer in place of Kishanganga HE Project on the same terms & conditions which was earlier intimated vide letter dated May 28, 2016.
