| Exchange Disseminated Time | | With reference to the earlier announcement dated April 20, 2012 regarding the Company had appealed to the Competition Appellate Tribunal (COMPAT) against the order of the Competition Commission of India (CCI), Gulf Oil Corporation Ltd has now informed BSE that the COMPAT has issued a final order in the Appeal on April 18, 2013 and decided reduction of the penalty to 10% (Rs. 2.89 crores) as against the penalty of Rs. 28.95 crores imposed by the CCI. The Company is awaiting certified copies of the order passed by the COMPAT and is, in the meantime, taking suitable legal steps. |
