1.We wish to inform you that Mr. Amit Jaiswal, Compliance Officer of our Company vide his letter dated 28th November 2017 has intimated us that SEBI has passed an order dated 27th November 2017 (the 'Order') against him.
Further, vide the Order, SEBI has inter alia levied a penalty of Rs. 25,00,000 (Rupees Twenty Five Lakhs) on him for the alleged violation of the provisions of SEBI Act, 1992 and SEBI (PIT) Regulations, 1992.
2.Mr. Jaiswal has informed us that the findings contained in the Order are in respect of the trading carried out by him in the shares of Jagran Prakashan Limited in the year 2009 and hence the same will have no impact on the financial statements of the Company.
3.Further, Mr. Jaiswal had informed us that he is evaluating the possibility of preferring an appeal against the Order before the Hon'ble SAT.
4.In the meanwhile this intimation is being made in view of the guidelines and obligations set out in the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
