| Exchange Disseminated Time | BGR Energy Systems Ltd has informed BSE regarding a Press Release dated August 29, 2011 titled "BGR Energy's Electrical Projects Secures Rs. 444.48 Cr. NPCIL Contract"

"The Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) has awarded a turnkey implementation contract to the Electrical Projects Division (EPD) of BGR Energy Systems at two of its upcoming nuclear power plants. The order, valued at Rs. 444.48 crore, involves the supply, erection, testing and commissioning of Main Plant Electrical Systems, including nuclear island electricals, at Kota, Rajasthan (2 X 700 MW) and Kakrapara, Gujarat (2 X 700 MW) BGR Energy has projected completion of the contract between September 2015 and March 2016.
Announcing the successful bid, Mr. V. Bala krishnan, President & CEO of EPD said, "This is a proud moment for us at BGR. The order is a measure of the confidence that major power generators in both the public and private sectors have come to vest in BGR’s competitive capabilities. This happens to be the single biggest order for main plant electricals received by BGR Energy so tar and would facilitate qualifications in the future." |
