| Exchange Disseminated Time | Golden Tobacco Ltd has informed BSE that :
1. Furtherance to the Company's earlier letter dated December 16, 2015, the Hon’ble High Court Guwahati (Assam) has granted Stay Order against the demand notice of Rs. 121.55 crore issued by the Central Excise Deptt., Guwahati ( Assam) , to the Company in the matter of North East Tobacco Co. Ltd. (NETCO).
2. The consortium bankers except Allahabad bank has declared the Company’s account as NPA and issued a notice under section 13(2) of SARFAESI Act, 2002. The Company is taking a legal opinion on the same and shall address accordingly. |
