| Exchange Disseminated Time | GTN Textiles Ltd has informed BSE that Due to old age and indifferent health, Shri. M L Patodia, Chairman (Promoter) has requested the Board of the Company to accept his resignation and the Board of Directors at their meeting held on July 24, 2008 accepted the same with deep regret and great reluctance.
In appreciation of his inspiring and exemplary leadership since inception of over 4 decades as Chairman of the Board, the Board of Directors unanimously requested him to accept position of 'Chairman Emeritus' of the Company with effect from July 24, 2008. Shri M L Patodia will not be a member of the Board, from the above mentioned date. |
