| Exchange Disseminated Time | Manaksia Ltd has informed BSE that the Company has made an application to Central Government for exemption under Section 212 of the Companies Act, 1956 in respect of its step down subsidiary Companies and approval of the same is awaited. In view of the above, it is not possible to hold the Annual General Meeting of the Company within the time period stipulated under Section 166 read with Section 210 of the Companies Act, 1956, i.e., on or before September 30, 2010.
The Company had therefore made an application to the Office of the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal (ROC) and has obtained approval for extension of time for holding of AGM for a period of three months.
Further the Company has informed that, the date of the holding of the Annual General Meeting in due course. |
