| Exchange Disseminated Time | EIH Associated Hotels Ltd has informed BSE that the Madras High Court and the Calcutta High Court have sanctioned the amalgamation of Indus Hotels Corporation Ltd with the Company pursuant to Sections 391/394 of the Companies Act, 1956.
The filing of a Certified Copy of the Order of the Calcutta High Court with the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal being the jurisdictional Registrar of the transferor Company has been completed this December 19, 2006. A Certified Copy of the Order of the Madras High Court was filed with the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu at Chennai being the jurisdictional Registrar of this Company which is the transferee Company on December 11, 2006.
Consequently, the Scheme of Amalgamation is effective from December 19, 2006 and has come into force from this date.
The Appointed Date is April 01, 2005. |
