Kennametal India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company vide circular resolution dated February 13, 2014, have :
1. decided to place on hold its plan of modernization, expansion and relocation of its manufacturing operations and other services for the time being after considering the change in policy for allotment of industrial land and as a consequence, reassessment of project cost, financial feasibility, delay and uncertainty surrounding the project.
2. decided to withdraw the application filed with Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB) seeking allotment of industrial land.
