The President of India, acting through and represented by the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Government of India (the "Promoter") (the "Seller") has submitted to BSE a Notice of Offer for Sale of 6,89,61,012 equity shares of the face value of Rs. 10 each ("Sale Shares"), aggregating to approximately 12.5% of the total paid-up equity share capital of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd (the "Company"), by Promoter through stock exchange mechanism on the separate window provided by the BSE Ltd. & NSE Ltd. (the "Stock Exchanges") for this purpose.

The Sale shall take place on the separate window of the Stock Exchanges and shall commence on March 08, 2013 at 9.15 a.m. and shall close on the same day at 3.30 p.m. Indian Standard Time ("Sale Date").
