"India has come a long way in terms of skilled manpower availability. In fact as it stands today it is safe to comment that it is one of the leading providers of skilled manpower worldwide. This is evident in terms of Indians engaged in doing skilled jobs as well the increase in the numbers of foreign industries who are setting up shops in India.

However one of the key areas which we still need to catch and match with the western countries is developing managerial skills. Though there are significantly growing number of B schools coming up in India, most of the candidates passing out, have very poor and limited exposure to corporate world.

On the other hand most of the reputed business schools, abroad, offers MBA programs only to the candidates who have a good of amount job experience. The major objectives is that MBA being a specialized study of business a person with job experience understands and appreciates the classroom sessions much better than a fresher. At the same time students will find this course very useful as it will enable them to climb the corporate ladder much faster. POWER MBA program therefore adds tremendous advantage to both students and employers.

In the POWER MBA program the students have to undergo a two year rigorous training program in both classrooms as well hands on learning environment. During the tenure of this course, the students attend theoretical classes and will also be engaged in extensive practical training. The perfect combination of theoretical and practical learning gives the students a complete understanding of the discipline unlike other MBA courses which provide a very narrow perspective of the industry through three-month summer internship programs only.

During the entire program tenure the POWER MBA students will be assigned to their respective supervisors and will have clear cut KRA's.
