| Exchange Disseminated Time | Makers Laboratories Ltd has informed BSE that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on February 19, 2016, inter alia, to consider the sale, transfer and disposal of the Company’s manufacturing unit situated at MIDC, Dombivli, District - Thane (Maharashtra) under section 180(1)(a) of the Companies Act, 2013.
This small manufacturing unit consisting of leasehold land admeasuring about 750 sq metres and factory buildings admeasuring about 457 sq metres is engaged in the manufacturing and sale of bulk drugs and drug intermediates, which is not a core business activity of the Company, This manufacturing unit contributed approximately 14% of the Company's total income for the financial year ended March 31, 2015.
Further, with reference to the above meeting of the Board of Directors, the trading window for dealing in the securities of the Company by the Insiders as defined under the SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 shall remain closed with immediate effect till closure of Company's business hours on February 23, 2016. |
