| Exchange Disseminated Time | EIH Associated Hotels Ltd has informed BSE that Hilton International Co & EIH Ltd today (September 4, 2003) announced a strategic alliance for co-branding hotels in India under the Trident Hilton brand.
This alliance covers nine hotels with approximately 1900 rooms across India, including the Oberoi Towers in Mumbai which will be re-branded as Hilton Towers. The re-branding of the hotels is expected to be completed by March 31, 2004.
Under this alliance EIH will continue to manage and operate all of the hotels, most of which are owned by EIH Ltd or its affiliated companies. The alliance brings together the international brand equity and extensive worldwide marketing resources of the Hilton Group and the expertise of EIH as an owner and operator of International hotels.
