"In reference to today's media article on the Company (GTL limited) in DNA Money dated March 14, 2011 and certain sections of electronic media, we once again wish to inform that the reports appearing are neither based on records nor facts. Consequently they are baseless and misleading.
In the notice issued to the Stock Exchanges on October 01, 2010, the Company had already informed about the Income-tax search conducted at the Company's premises. The Company had fully co-operated with the authorities and provided all details and information sought during the process. The Company has been a regular assessee under the Income Tax Act and has been filing its IT returns regularly." |
