| Exchange Disseminated Time | | With reference to the earlier announcements dated August 27, 2011 and October 17, 2011 about the Order of the Hon'ble High Court at Jodhpur, on account of which the mining of limestone at the Company's Chanderia plant had to be suspended, Birla Corporation Ltd has now informed BSE that the matter was heard on December 19, 2011 and the Court granted partial relief by allowing the Company to remove 70,000 MT of already excavated limestone from the mining area. Further, the Court directed Indian Bureau of Mines to conduct inspection and various tests with regard to the mining activities and its effect on the Chittorgarh Fort and submit a report within one month. The matter will be listed for hearing after 4 weeks in January 2012. |
